Floor tracks provide a cost effective means of allowing the robot to access multiple work stations which would normally be outside the reach of the robot.
- These can be manufactured in a range of lengths, and are designed to meet the length and height requirements of the customer’s application
- The floor track is bolted to the floor and conventional 4 and 6 axis robots are then mounted on the carriage plate which uses a Fanuc servo motor and rack and pinion drive to travel along the track.
- Robots running along the floor tracks position using the servo motor and communicate via flexible power and signal cables located within a drag chain.
- Prior to installing the gantry or floor track, JHA&R carry out thorough in-house testing on all their products, ensuring the customer can safely and successfully maximize the potential of their Fanuc robot upon delivery.
