John Hart Automation & Robotics are excited by the release of the Fanuc M-2000iA ‘super heavy payload robot’ to the Australian market. Weighing in at almost 10 tonne, the M-2000iA is the largest and strongest handling robot on the market to date.

New compact 6Kg parallel link arm robot for high speed assembly and packaging with six axes versatility. Following closely the introduction of its first lightweight parallel link design robot, the 0.5Kg M-1iA, FANUC Robotics has now launched its larger 6Kg payload version, the M-3iA. Available in 4 or 6 axes configurations, the design provides a compact handling solution for machine or system integration.

The M-1iA is a lightweight and compact six axis, parallel-link robot designed for small part handling, high-speed picking and assembly in a wide range of industries such as food, medical, pharmaceutical and plastic moulding. The unique parallel-link structure provides higher speed, accuracy and flexibility that far exceed the capabilities of other vertically-articulated or SCARA type robots.

Fanuc has recently introduced two new robot models to its range, the M10iA with up to 10kg payload and the M20iA (up to 20kg). With multiple strength and reach configurations, these versatile intelligent handling robots have been introduced as replacements to the popular M6iB and M16iB robots. Fanuc has improved the peripheral packaging on these robots dramatically. For the first time on a 6 axis robot of its size, the hollow joints at both J4 and J6 allow all cabling and services to run inside the robot arm.
